Why we’re building this
I’m Walter, a disabled combat veteran and the founder behind KK Military Travel Planner.
This project brings together two things I care about: building useful software and helping veterans make the most of their opportunities to travel. We’re working to bring military campgrounds, national and state parks, and practical trip planning together in one place.
We want veteran access to cost as little as possible. Our goal is to provide free access for retired and 100% disabled veterans. We’re still working through the costs and details needed to make that sustainable.

We’ll tell you what works today, what we’re still building, and what it costs before asking you to commit. No implied access to military facilities. No promises that a subscription can replace eligibility checks. Just a clear focus on making the journey easier.
